What a blast of a movie!! And to top it off, eye candy galore for us girls (Harrison Ford for us seniorish types, Daniel Craig for the younger set, altho I did enjoy him, too). Very much worth the price of admission!
I can't wait to see it, but I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD, because I don't like going to the theaters any more...too many clowns with their cell phones and poor manners. In any event, the reviews I've seen of this movie have been about evenly divided between "awesome" and "awful," so I choose to believe the "awesome" ones, and will see it as soon as I can. B.
Awesome. Hmmm, no. Certainly not an Academy Award winner...but very good fun, if for no other reason than the unusual premise. The key to a relaxed theater experience is timing it properly. As a retired, seniorish lady, I usually attend the morning matinee. The local AMC charges $5 for any showing before noon. Not only is it gentle on the pocketbook, but the kiddies and their annoying cell phones are in school. Poor mannered adults are easy to avoid because the theater is almost empty.
